この商品は、日本に古くから伝わる藍染の生地を日用品として現代の暮らしに取り入れることを目的に、藍染古布を合成樹脂で成形して仕上げたトレーです。
This tray is made by molding traditional Japanese indigo-dyed fabric (aizome) with synthetic resin, designed to bring the beauty of aizome into modern everyday life.

使用している藍染古布は、かつて大切に使われていたものや、長らく蔵に保管されていたものなど、全国各地から収集したものです。
明治から昭和初期にかけて染められた生地が多く、それぞれに異なる色味や柄があり、ひとつとして同じものはありません。
The indigo-dyed antique fabrics used in this product were carefully collected from all over Japan. Many of them were once cherished in daily life or stored in warehouses for decades. Most were dyed between the Meiji and early Showa periods, and each piece features unique colors and patterns—no two are exactly alike.

裁断された生地は、成形技術に定評のある和歌山の工場で丁寧に加工されます。
100トンまで対応可能なプレス機を用い、生地の上に合成樹脂を重ね、熱と圧力をゆっくりとかけながら成形していきます。
生地の厚みや風合いは一点一点異なるため、それぞれに最適な温度や時間に調整を行いながら製造しています。
使い込まれて色が薄くなった藍染古布も、プレス工程を経ることで、まるで染めたてのような深い藍色がよみがえります。成形後は、トレーからはみ出た余分な生地を丁寧にカットし、エッジを研磨して仕上げています。
一点一点に異なる表情を持つ、特別なトレーです。古き良き素材と現代の技術が融合した、時代を超えて暮らしに寄り添うプロダクトとなっています。
The cut fabric is carefully processed at a factory in Wakayama, known for its excellent molding techniques. Using a press machine capable of handling up to 100 tons, synthetic resin is layered over the fabric and slowly molded with heat and pressure. Since each piece of fabric varies in thickness and texture, the temperature and duration are finely adjusted for every individual item. Even indigo-dyed antique cloth that has faded over time regains its rich, deep blue through the pressing process. After molding, any excess fabric is carefully trimmed, and the edges are polished to perfection. Each tray has its own unique character, making it one of a kind. This product is a fusion of time-honored materials and modern craftsmanship—designed to bring timeless beauty into everyday life.

　使用できません。変色や変形の原因となります。
